I enjoyed a lovely stay with great food and a nice quiet experience in the superb countryside, making it the perfect base to explore nearby attractions like the Church of St Mary the Virgin, which is less than 5 km away, and the picturesque Boddington Reservoir, just a short drive, giving ample opportunities for serene walks.

The cozy gastropub had a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, but service was lacking during a busy time, leading to delays. The food quality was excellent, especially the Sunday Roast. Enjoyed exploring the stunning countryside location nearby, but a larger bed would have made it even better.

i had a lovely stay at red lion at hellidon. the pub is charming and the food was fantastic! it's only 5 minutes from where i needed to be in the morning, which made it perfect. the staff were super friendly, too, making everyone feel welcome. breakfast was decent enough, though a cooked option would have been nice.

Had a really nice time at this cozy pub. The double room was comfy, and they had awesome outdoor dining. Our meals were top-notch—my steak was just perfect and the chips were heavenly. Only thing was, it got a bit busy towards the end, and service slowed down. but a lovely spot!

The location in the Northamptonshire countryside is truly picturesque. there was ongoing decorating that I wasn't warned about, and it disrupted the otherwise lovely atmosphere. The noise from the fridge at night disturbed my sleep a bit too. It felt a bit overpriced for the overall quality, given the mentioned issues.
